CU*@HOME Puts Your Credit Union Accounts At Your Fingertips!

Consumers Federal Credit Union makes it possible for you to access your credit union accounts right from your PC keyboard.

If you have a PC and connection to the internet, you can check your balances, transfer funds, and get credit union rate information when it's convenient for you.

Our flexible CU*@HOME (pronounced "See you at Home") PC Home Banking system makes taking care of your credit union transactions faster and easier than ever! Because you have round-the-clock access to your accounts, this service is perfect for today's busy lifestyles.

All You Need to Use CU*@HOME Is:

  • Connection to the internet, such as through America Online or another Internet Service Provider (ISP).
  • Operating System: Windows 98 or newer
  • Frame-capable Internet browser software. Although other browsers may work, only current versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator are supported by CU*@HOME. Web TV is not supported by CU*@HOME.
  • The browser must use 128-bit encryption. (Check the encryption level, from the Help menu, choose Help About... and look for a cipher strength or "high-grade security" indicating 128-bit strength.)
  • Cookies must be turned on to use CU*@HOME.

Remember that as security requirements and the Internet world change, so will these requirements. If you have trouble accessing CU*@HOME features, the first step is always to upgrade your browser software. Sign-On Information

In addition to the instructions above, here's what you'll need to sign on:

  • CU Access Code: 123
  • Your account number
  • Your confidential Personal Identification Number (PIN). This is the same as the PIN you use in CU*TALK Audio Response.

CU*@HOME Lets You Perform Transactions Like These:

  • Apply for a loan
  • Review account balances
  • Verify the date and amount of your transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments
  • Verify that certain checks have cleared
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Make loan payments from funds in your accounts
  • Review loan payoff amounts and due dates
  • Check current loan and savings rates
  • Calculate loan payments for different amounts, rates and terms
  • Open secondary savings and certificate accounts
  • Change your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
  • Obtain annual dividend and interest information

Connecting To CU*@HOME Home Banking

Follow these steps every time you want to access CU*@HOME:

  1. Establish a connection to the Internet through your normal procedure (provided by your ISP).
  2. In the "Location" or "Address" line of your browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer), type the following to load CU*@HOME: https://www.cuathome.org/ and click on the CU*@HOME icon.

    Hint: If you use CU*@HOME often, you may even want to make this your "home" page so it is automatically loaded each time you access your browser.

  3. An initial page will appear to let you check your browser for the security features needed to use CU*@HOME. If your browser is the proper version, click "Continue to CU*@HOME Login" to proceed.
  4. You're ready to begin! Enter the credit union access code 123 and click Enter.
  5. Enter your member number. (For example, if your account number is 1234-5-000, your member number would be 12345.) Then enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and click Login.

    Be Careful - If you enter the PIN incorrectly three times, your PIN will be disabled. You must contact the credit union directly for reactivation.

  6. From this point on, CU*@HOME will guide you through each option. Just point and click!
  7. When you have finished your last transaction, click Log Out.

Introducing CU*TALK, our computer voice response system, which makes taking care of your credit union business faster, easier and safer! Because you can now get around-theclock access to your accounts, this service is perfect for today's busy lifestyles.

All you need to make contact with CU*TALK is a touch-tone phone, credit union access code, account number, and your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Now you are all set to take care of business!

CU*TALK Lets You Perform Numerous Transactions Like These:

  • Review account balances
  • Verify the date and amount of your transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments
  • Verify whether certain checks have cleared
  • Transfer funds between accounts
  • Make loan payments
  • Check current interest rates
  • Change your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
  • Obtain annual dividend and interest information

CU*TALK Guides You Through Each Step!

Step-by-step instructions make it easy to use CU*TALK:

  1. Using your touch-tone phone, call: (616) 285-5720 or long distance at 1-800-860-5704.
  2. The computer voice will answer and ask for your credit union's access code. You respond by entering 123 then the # key.
  3. The computer will then ask you to enter your member number. (For example, if your account number is 1234-5-000 your member number would be 12345.) Please make sure to use your complete account number. Just enter your member number, then press the # key.
  4. You will be prompted to punch in your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Enter your PIN and press the # key.

    Be Careful - if you enter the PIN incorrectly three times, your PIN will be disabled. You must contact the credit union directly for reactivation.

  5. From this point on, the CU*TALK procedure will vary depending on the transactions you wish to complete. CU*TALK will guide you through each step.

    Hint: This first set of options includes a brief tutorial (press "0") with tips and hints for using the system. At any time during the tutorial, you can press * to return to the main menu.

  6. When you have finished your last transaction, simply hang up the phone.
